Fair warning, this is not one of my typical blog postings.
Something this special could not be ignored.
There are people who don’t believe in true love. I am not one of those people. I came across this video today and quickly realized it embodies every ounce of what I believe to be the core of a real relationship and true love.
The final result is magic.
This is the story of Fred, a 96-year-old man who just lost his wife of 73-years. He spotted a singer-songwriter contest hosted by Green Shoe Studio. He decided to enter, not online as the ad in his local paper instructed, instead sending a manila envelope with a handwritten song for his late wife entitled, “Oh Sweet Lorraine.”
You’ll quickly see how Fred gushes over his late-love. In turn, the good folks at Green Shoe Studio, gush over Fred. They give him a priceless gift and now they are sharing it with us.
Enjoy, but I’d grab a tissue first.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
